    How to get there
    We are located at 401 Madras Street, Christchurch Central.

    Parking
    You can enter our carpark from Madras Street; turn left just before the lights on Bealey Avenue. We have a drop off area at the front entrance for patients who may require this.

    Public Transport
    You can plan your bus trip from the Journey Planner on the Metro website.

    Accessibility
    We have wheelchair parking and an accessibility ramp. Wheelchairs are available if you need them. We also have an interpreter service available.

Here's what to expect

Advertise

We advertise our roles across many channels, including SEEK, LinkedIn, and our website. Keep an eye on our current job opportunities page for current jobs.

Apply

  • Apply for a current job opportunities by clicking apply now on the job you're interested in. Remember, you don't need to meet all the criteria to apply.
  • Ensure your application covers all the information requested in the advertisement. Tell us about who you are, what’s important to you, and what you’ll bring to our team.
  • Once you've submitted your application, we’ll send you an email to let you know we’ve received your application, and it is being reviewed.
  • We'll connect with you via email or phone about the next stage of your application.

Shortlist

  • We review all applications and create a shortlist based on the requirements for the role.
  • We'll let you know via email or phone about the outcome of this process and if you've been successful at securing an interview.
  • Sometimes we may complete a short phone screening interview with you to clarify some areas.

Interview

  • If we proceed with your application, you will be invited to an interview. Usually this includes two interviewers and is a conversation for us to find out about you, and equally for you to get to know us.
  • Interviews can be in person, over video (Microsoft Teams), or by phone.
  • We’ll let you know who you will be meeting and agree to where and when.
  • We usually use behavioural based questions in our interviews. We will explain how to prepare for the interview when we set this up with you. Also, if you’d like to bring a support person with you to meetings, or if you need any other support or information about accessibility, please let us know. Email us people@pegasus.health.nz.

Checks

  • For the final stage of recruitment, we will need to contact your references and complete other pre-employment checks.
  • We'll ask you for two references, ideally a former manager(s).
  • We'll also ask for your permission to undertake a Ministry of Justice criminal record check or a police vetting check dependent on the role.
  • Other background checks such as police vetting will be required for specific roles.

Offer

We will verbally advise you of the outcome. You will receive your written offer of employment electronically for you to e-sign. 

Onboarding

Your team and Pegasus Health onboarding programme extends over 3 months. This will help you get settled into life at Pegasus.
